What's New at World Atlas?
Graphic Maps (our map partner) and the worldatlas.com team are in the process of changing the basic locator maps and information pages within the site to better serve the tens of thousands of geography and map aficionados, home schoolers, parents, students, teachers and travelers that visit worldatlas.com each day. 
The Italy Maps (shown below) reflect that new look, and in that regard, please check Italy's new content page here!
Graphic Maps is currently in production on all countries, bodies of water, islands and provinces of the world, and we expect to have all of the finished maps posted by June 1, 2008. Their team is now in Rome, Italy, developing the European maps.
