Portsmouth

Portsmouth is right on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, offering beautiful views and fun that you can have all day. Société: Tea and Apothecary teaches you how to make tea with a local herbalist. Hanover

On the complete opposite side of the state from Portsmouth, you'll find Hanover. This town is known for being Dartmouth College's home but offers great self-care options. You can check out the Hopkins Center for the Arts if you're in the mood to relax and watch a show. Art fans can go to the Hood Museum of Art and take in some of the most spectacular works you'll see in America. Once the day is done, take yourself to Pine, one of the most upscale and best dining options in New Hampshire. Hanover is a great place to unplug and take in art of all kinds. 

Exeter

Making our way back towards the Atlantic, Exeter, New Hampshire, is a wonderful place to unwind. Hikers will enjoy going to the Philips Exeter Trail and exploring Exeter's vast nature. Gilman Park and Swasey Parkway are two excellent options for going and taking a book. Both parks have water next to them for you to feed ducks and slow down. You can treat yourself to fine dining at places like Otis Restaurant and Ambrose, or go to a bar like Epoch Gastropub to meet new people and hang out. 

North Conway

North Conway, New Hampshire, might be one of the most beautiful places you'll ever visit. This is a place for those who unwind outdoors. You can turn off the car radio and drive around the Kancamagus Highway. The trees allow you to do one of the most colorful and vivid drives you'll take. You can also hike to Diana's Baths, a series of multiple waterfalls where you can get in and enjoy natural springs. Another hike to take is to Cathedral Ledge. This overlooks the entire state and will have you taking as many pictures as your phone holds. 

Meredith

Another small town in the middle of New Hampshire is Meredith. You'll find great ways to unwind here at places like Moulton Farm. This outdoor area is where you can buy delicious homegrown food, a great selection of fun fall activities like pumpkin picking, and some of the most beautiful flowers. You can also check out the Meredith Marina, where you can relax and recharge on a boat. Meredith is also home to Hermit Woods Winery & Eatery. You'll be able to enjoy a wine tasting with multiple homemade wines and delicious food. Meredith has the perfect small-town charm for your getaway. 

Littleton

Littleton is one of the nicest towns with plenty of outdoor activities in New Hampshire. Here, you can find hiking trails such as Kilburn Crags. This trail leads up a mountain where you feel you're amongst only trees and nature. You can also walk to the Riverwalk Covered Bridge, one of the most elegant bridges. A couple of buildings are situated next to the river the bridge goes over, making it the perfect place to listen to the water run. Those who love antiques need to make sure they visit Just L Modern Antiques. Littleton is the perfect cozy town to refuel yourself at. 

Sugar Hill

Sugar Hill is the perfect place for those who want to leave the world behind for a weekend. This town is only home to 700 people, but still offers a lot. If you're a person who loves to ski, make sure to visit Ski Hearth Farm. This trail is always groomed and is ready for you to take it on. During the summertime, the Sunset Hill Golf Course is an excellent way for you to forget about everything going on and focus on your game. Make sure to save room for the restaurant at the Sugar Hill Inn or breakfast at Polly's Pancake Parlor.

Franconia

Franconia is another fitting place to escape into the wilderness in New Hampshire. Franconia Notch State Park is among the most colorful state parks ever seen. Creeks and rivers are running with crystal clear blue water. Cannon Mountain is known for its hikes during the summer and excellent skiing during the winter. Ensure you also visit Iron Furnace Brewing to relax and enjoy the fresh air outdoors.
