Friday Harbor is a picturesque island and is a part of the San Juan cluster of Islands that is only accessible by ferry.

Right on the Canadian/US border, you can easily access Blaine from Vancouver by passing through the Peace Arch Border, or by taking Interstate 5 in the United States up past Bellingham.
