Fort Mohave, Arizona
Fort Mohave is a census-designated place situated in Mohave County, in the US State of Arizona. The city has been named after a local fort that was used during the Mohave War and covers a total area of 43.25 sq. km. The city is located between Bullhead City and Mohave Valley and is demographically related to both. Because of its recent expansion, it is now the most populated unincorporated community in Mohave County. Many Fort Mohave neighborhoods are built over artificial lakes, golf courses, and cliffs with spectacular mountain views.

Brief History Of Fort Mohave
Melchor Daz, a Spanish adventurer, was the first known European to visit the region. He describes encountering a big group of Indians who called themselves the Pipa Aha Macav, which translates as "People by the River." The Spanish name Mojave was derived from "Aha Macav," and it was then adopted into English, where it is also written Mohave. During the Mohave War, the Fort served as a base for US Army military operations against the local Mohave people, who had lived in the region for centuries. The Fort was closed down on May 28, 1861, but reopened on May 19, 1863, when the Civil War began. The Fort was used till 1890, after which it was converted into an Indian school. The school was closed in 1934. The buildings were demolished in 1942 so that the materials could be used to build Davis Dam and provide housing for the workers.

Willow Beach
Willow Beach is a paddlecrafter's ideal place, surrounded by sheer canyon walls along the Colorado River. Many people prefer to take a guided raft or kayak excursion from the Hoover Dam's base to Willow Beach, stopping at bays, hot springs, and waterfalls along the route. Others head straight to Willow Beach, where they may rent boats or paddle craft and fish from the pier.
Los Lagos Golf Club
Los Lagos Golf Club makes excellent use of the beautiful and diverse geography of the Colorado River Valley. Ted Robinson Sr. built the course, which contained more than 40 cleverly positioned bunkers throughout the fairways and green sides. Seven holes include water hazards; however, only one demands a forced carry. The challenging arrangement requires considerable skill, yet it is still user-friendly enough to appeal to various skill levels.
Fort Mohave may lack popularity compared to other places in the United States, but it is a modest and lovely future tourist spot that is well worth a visit.
