Argentina is located in an area known as the `Southern Cone`of South America. Argentina shares borders with Chile to the west, Bolivia and Paraguay to the north, and Brazil to the northeast. The country is the eighth largest country in the world with a land mass of 2,780,400 km2 (1,073,500 sq mi).
